A fabulous vintage petit point tapestry handbag, likely dating from the 1930s to 1950s, featuring a romantic scene surrounded by floral embroidery.
Condition: The metal clasp is missing a piece (I think it used to have the shape of a fish). It still works perfectly though.There is also some age related discolouration to the fabric, please see photos.
Approx measurements: 24 cm (9 1/2”) maximum width 14 cm (5 1/2”) height of the bag
The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped very well for a safe journey.
