A beautiful pair of antique Staffordshire dogs in the form of seated hearth spaniels. They have separated front legs which is a more rare design for these old dogs. Hand painted details with a copper lustre effect. c.1840-1860
Condition: one of them has crazing all over. There’s also some wear to the paint. Please see pictures.
Approx measurements: 15 cm (5 3/4”) tall
The items may be packaged with repurposed materials, but they will be wrapped well for a safe journey.
