Gorgeous platter by Minton, featuring an intricate design with a green border, an exotic bird in the centre and pink and blue floral motif. A very sought after pattern, called Green Cockatrice.
Condition: there are a few small scratches to the green border, please see photos.

Marked: 4863 Green Cockatrice, MINTON Bone China, Made in England.
This specific stamp was used by the pottery between 1891 - 1907.
Very good condition, with no crazing or cracks, but there are some tiny chips on the edges and some signs of wear which reflect their age.
