A cool wall-mounted pipe holder made of wood and brass. The brass plaque has an inscription in Dutch: "MIJN PIJPKE IS MIJN BESTE VRIEND DIE MIJ TER TROUWE ALTIJD DIENT," which translates to "My little pipe is my best friend, who always serves me faithfully". It can hold 6 pipes. Likely from the 1920s - 1930s.
Condition: there is some wear and tarnish which only add to the charm.
Approx measurements: 28 cm (11 1/8”) wide 13.5 cm (5 3/8”) tall
The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped very well for a safe journey.
