A vintage silver plated small lidded crumb or ash tray, often referred to as a silent butler. Unmarked but attributed to Barker Ellis. It features an armorial crest and shell shape handle to the lid, four stepped feet and a turned wood handle.
Condition: the wooden handle feels a little loose. There is also some patina. Please see photos.
Approx measurements: 10 cm (a little under 4”) wide 15 cm (6”) long including the handle
The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped well for a safe journey.
