A stunning silver plated butter dish with ornate details. Made in Sheffield by Boardman, Glossop & Co and dates to between around 1890 and 1920. Due to the tarnish I don’t recommend storing food in it, but it would make a wonderful jewellery dish or just as display.
Condition: it has some tarnish and the silver plate is gone in some places. Please see pictures.
Approx measurements: Bottom part: 19 cm (7 1/2") long 14 cm ( 5 1/2") wide
Top part: 14 cm (5 1/2") long 9.5 cm (3 3/4") wide
The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped very well for a safe journey.
