A stunning antoque lidded dish made by Wallis Gimson & Co in the “Alexandria” pattern (R.N. 39268). Beautiful petrol blue pattern with birds, bamboo, flowers and other greenery. C. 1880s
Condition: there is some crazing on the lid, and a small chip to one of the bottom corners of the base, please see photos. Also a lot of wear to the gold edges.
Approx measurements: 27.5 cm (10 3/4”) long, handle to handle 16 cm (6 1/4”) wide 7 cm (2 3/4”) tall measured at rim
A matching gravy boat and a ladle are available in my shop and can be purchased individually.
The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped well for a safe journey.
