A gorgeous antique small tureen with lid, from the early 1900s - an amazing piece that will take you back in time.
It has a beautiful blue and white leaf swag pattern, lovely shape, ornate lid and handles.
The dish is designed to hold a small ladle, hence the hole in the lid.
Condition: Very good condition considering it’s age, with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some staining on the base outside, around one of the handles and on the inside of the lid. Please see photos and video as they form an important part of the description.
Approx measurements: 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) from handle to handle; 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) diameter at rim; 3 1/4 inches (8.5 cm) tall without lid.
Mark: Crescent G J & Sons England TRURO. This stamp design was used in the late 1800s - early 1900s.
The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped very well for a safe journey.
