Antique Carlton Ware Biscuit Barrel

A gorgeous biscuit barrel with metal lid and handle, made by Carlton Ware. Beautiful floral pattern and raised details at the rim, and a gorgeous lid!   

c.1897 (based on the registration number on the base)

Condition: No chips or cracks but there is a little crazing and wear. Please see photos. 

Approx measurements:
14 cm (5 1/2”) height, measured at the opening 
14.5 cm (5 3/4”) width

Marked: Carnation, 30945, W&R Stoke on Trent, Carlton Ware. 

The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped very well for a safe journey.
