A mid-nineteenth century small tureen with lid, an amazing piece that will take you back in time.
It has the popular “Asiatic Pheasants” pattern in light blue, lovely shape, lid and handles.
The dish is designed to hold a small ladle, hence the hole in the lid.
Condition: There is crazing and staining around the crazing lines. Some small chips under the lid. A superficial crack under the glaze, a result of the manufacturing process. Please see photos and video as they form an important part of the description.
Approx measurements: 9 cm (3 1/2”) height measured at rim 20 cm (8”) handle to handle
The item may be packaged with repurposed materials, but it will be wrapped very well for a safe journey.
